Story Bridge Deli & Cafe

STORY BRIDGE DELI & CAFE HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Located in the shadow of the Story Bridge, a stone's throw from the Hotel, the Story Bridge Deli & Cafe serves up some seriously delicious fare (including gluten-free and vegetarian); alongside a vast selection of deli items.

Patrons can pick up provisions – local and imported cheeses, fruit and veggies, freshly baked breads, deli meats and more – and enjoy a cup of coffee and something to eat with seating provided inside and out, on the footpath or in the small, rear courtyard.  

Breakfast and lunch is provided as well as a selection of saccharine treats to compliment the quality coffee, custom blended by Merlo. Start the day with something wholesome such as seasonal fruit with honey and vanilla-infused yoghurt or SBD's blueberry, cranberry and orange granola, topped with roasted hazelnuts served with yoghurt and milk; or indulge with Our Ultimate Banana Pancakes - buttermilk pancakes sandwiched with Callebaut caramel topped with clotted cream, fresh banana and passionfruit.

Lunch options range from gourmet sandwiches and salads to Thai fish cakes, homemade corn cakes and quiches; or try the Gourmet Ploughman's lunch - hard and soft cheeses, balsamic onions, homemade Bannock Brae ham hock terrine with spicy relish, crusty bread and butter.  

Drinks include loose leaf Vintage Teas, smoothies, freshly squeezed juices and SBD's signature handmade cold drinks – ginger beer, limeade and iced teas.
