Astrophile's listen up! Physicist professor Brian Greene returns to World Science Festival Brisbane to take us on a multimedia trip through the cosmos in Space Rocks to Moon Rocks: Paths to Life in the Solar System, on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at QPAC.

How did the Solar System evolve? How did life arrive on earth? And how can life be sustained beyond our earthly bounds?

With a remarkable trio of missions (Osiris Rex, Artemis, and Perseverance Rover) NASA seeks to find fundamental answers to these questions.

Each involves the taking of samples from a different celestial body and returning those samples to earth for further study.

Taken together, these three missions will add a large body of empirical data to bolster - or break apart - prevailing theories of how our solar system was born, how it evolved and how life emerged here on Earth.
