QPAC Unlocked
QPAC
QPAC Unlocked is a series of exclusive, personal performances for audiences eager to engage with the arts again.
QPAC has been the proud home of the performing arts in Queensland for over 3 decades, and is ecstatic to announce that they're ‘unlocking’ their doors from Friday, August 28; welcoming you to reconnect with the performing arts and artists.
This is QPAC as you have never experienced it before. They're reopening iconic spaces like the Concert Hall, Cremorne Theatre and Lyrebird restaurant, and delivering intimate, moving experiences - from musical theatre to cabaret and classical music - reimagined to safeguard you and your arts experience.
QPAC’s Unlocked Concert Hall program will offer a new perspective for audiences, with seating behind not in front of the stage. The exciting program will offer a series of 8 one-hour-long performances featuring some of Queensland’s most outstanding soloists and chamber musicians.
The stellar line-up features solo pianist Alex Raineri, Australian rising star violin virtuoso Courtenay Cleary, Camerata-Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra with acclaimed flamenco guitarist, Andrew Veivers, in Viva España, and the next generation of Australian musical theatre stars, Bachelor of Musical Theatre Students from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU) performing a mix of popular musical theatre songs.
