OSCAR BAR & EATS HAS CLOSED.

Oscar Bar & Eats is a buzzy, neighbourhood tapas bar dishing up delicious Asian fusion fare along with wine, beer and classic cocktails.

Located at Victoria Point Shopping Centre's new dining precinct, Oscar provides seating inside its chic Hamptons-style restaurant, as well as al fresco dining amongst the ferns.

The delicious Asian fusion menu includes starters such as edamame tossed in garlic soy sauce, pork and veggie gyoza, Japanese-style tofu served in hot broth, crispy takoyaki balls, and open bahn mi with marinated Vietnamese beef.

Dishes designed to be shared include plates of mussels in creamy coconut curry, chicken karaage, pork belly bao, and slow-cooked Korean-style sticky short beef ribs. Plus, there's a Seafood Platter piled with prawn cutlets, tempura barramundi, Thai scallops, and salt and pepper calamari, the Oscar Tasting Plate (pork bao, spring rolls, crab balls and chicken katsu sliders) and a vegetarian option with tempura vegetables, agedashi tofu, spring rolls and veggie sliders.

Otherwise, there are Main dishes such as Chicken Penang, Beef Massaman, a Korean-style poke bowl with stir-fried beef and crunchy veggies, and a noodle dish - soy and confit garlic tossed soba noodles with chilli, shallots, fresh greens and herbs.

Oscar Bar & Eats is fully licensed with a carefully curated wine list that consists of predominantly Australian wines, craft beer of tap and bottled, premium spirits, and classic cocktails like mojitos, margaritas, French martinis and pina coladas.
