Never + Barely Worn (previously Barely Worn) is a quaint consignment store found amid the leafy streets of Bardon and is a treasure waiting to be discovered by the foragers of Brisbane.

Founder Vanessa Goulmy has been running the vintage and new clothing and accessory store for ten months. Taking great pride in her gorgeous collection of pieces, Vanessa says she is “very particular” when selecting current, last season and vintage stock.

This boutique consignment store allows the city of Brisbane to become involved as all are welcomed to bring their high-end designer clothing, shoes, belts and handbags to Goulmy in exchange for 50% of the sale price.

While items rotate regularly, Never + Barely Worn stocks an array of delicate white silk dresses by Lee Mathews, fox fur coats, snake skin and leather flats and sequined handbags.

With the precision of Goulmy, the store itself is set out poetically with garments hung delicately with wooden coat hangers and draped over old fashioned mannequins, denim folded carefully and accessories placed neatly on antique and French inspired wooden bed side tables and dining chairs.

Other designer labels include Alice McCall, Camilla, Pedro Garcia and nsj.
