The best of Britain is coming to Palace Cinemas when the 2019 MINI British Film Festival screens from October 30-November 24.

Featuring a mix of new releases and restored gems, this year’s British Film Festival spans a range of genres including real-life stories, dramas, comedies, book adaptations, family-friendly offerings and even retrospective titles.

Opening night kicks off with the inspirational Kristin Scott Thomas-led drama Military Wives (starring Kristin Scott Thomas), while closing night features The Good Liar – a wicked thriller starring Sir Ian McKellen and Dame Helen Mirren.

Dame Helen will also feature in the retrospective Mirror on Mirren, which pays tribute to the Oscar winner’s incredible acting talents by screening a selection of career highlights, including some hidden gems from her amazing back catalogue.
