Mayor's Carols By Candlelight
Ipswich
The Mayor’s Carols by Candlelight lights up the North Ipswich Reserve on Saturday evening, led by one of Australia’s most popular entertainers David Campbell with guest appearance by leading lady of stage, Marina Prior.
The night of dazzling festivities is suitable for all ages and a fantastic way to get into the Christmas spirit, with a visit by Santa, Christmas message by Mayor Paul Pisasale, free kids rides, and finishing with a 9pm fireworks spectacular.
Joining David and Marina in performing all of the favourite and classic carols and Christmas songs are the Greater Springfield Combined Church Gospel Choir, Ipswich City Orchestra, Voices of Ipswich, WestMAC Middle Voices, Brassall State School Glee and Ipswich’s 2014 A Star is Born winners.
Concert attendees can bring their own picnic otherwise food and drink will be available from vendors on site.
