Light up the Dawn

on Anzac Day

You may not be able to attend a Dawn Service this ANZAC Day but you can still pay your respects to those who have sacrificed their lives for our country in the wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations with Light up the Dawn.

This year, join with the rest of the country and hold your own ANZAC day service at home by standing at the end of your driveway (or on a balcony on in the living room) at 6am.

To accompany, an audiofile of a short commemorative service is available to be streamed on the RSL website with the following Order of Service:

  • Acknowledgment of Country
  • The Ode – RSL Queensland President Tony Ferris
  • The Last Post – Australian Army Band Brisbane
  • A minute’s silence
  • Reveille – Australian Army Band Brisbane
  • The National Anthem – Australian Army Band Brisbane
