Le Noir The Dark Side Of Cirque

Lyric Theatre

Cirque returns to Brisbane with the spell-binding show Le Noir - The Dark Side of Cirque, which is set to whisk audiences away on a dark journey of magic and mystique.

Cirque is world-renowned for bringing together the most talented, acrobatic and expressive artists we’ve ever seen, and having them perform in a show that’s as breathtaking as it is physically demanding. At any Cirque show, you’re guaranteed to laugh, smile, gasp, jump and clap, no matter what the theme of the night is.

And Le Noir - The Dark Side of Cirque is an electrifying experience that’ll leave you on the edge of your seat, making this Australian premiere one to circle on your calendar.

For this production the Lyric Theatre has been especially transformed into a custom-built stage with a 360-degree view, so instead of merely watching a show, you’re now part of it from every angle in the house. And for Le Noir, you should be too, as the show features incredible displays of contortion, aerial artistry, stamina and theatrical performance.

There will also be death-defying stunts, such as the Colombian Wheel of Death, where performers will risk life and limb atop two spinning wheels that seemingly float far too high above the stage. But before your heart gets too caught in your throat, the show cuts to slapstick humour and the wonderful use of transitional colour takes your mind off the potential dangers.

But only for a bit.
