JOHNNY'S PIZZERIA HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Johnny's Pizzeria is a 1970’s disco inspired bar/eatery tucked at the back of Bakery Lane in Fortitude Valley, serving bona fide Italian pizzas and drinks from the bar.

The relaxed disco décor fits the hole-in-the-wall style pizza shop, with ambient red mood lighting and a disco ball that takes centre stage. There are tall bar tables ideal for large group dining, as well as smaller tables for intimate dining. Red-and-white check tablecloths top the tables, which ties into the overall diner, 70s vibe.

As the menu has been created by two Italian’s, it is laden with impressive pizza flavours. Pizza options include classic favourites such as the margherita, as well as a delightful mushroom pizza. Unique flavours include the Tartufo, which is topped with mozzarella, fior di latte, parmigiana-reggiano, white truffle oil and prosciutto. All of Johnny’s pizzas are made on the perfect, thin and authentic Italian base.

The bar includes its very own cocktail menu which is laden with beverages that include Campari and Aperol. Johnny’s also has a house Vino Shiraz and a range of Italian wines on offer, as well as tap beers.

There is a DJ that plays disco beats until the early hours of the morning, making it a prime stopover for after-work drinks or for a late-night feed.
