J’adore Dessert Lounge

Booval

J'ADORE DESSERT LOUNGE HAS SADLY CLOSED ITS DOORS IN DECEMBER 2017.

J’Adore Dessert Lounge in Booval is south east Queensland’s best most creative dessert lounge and well worth a trip to sample their scrumptious and decadent works of sweet art.

Don’t be deceived by the location in a nondescript 1960’s shopping strip on the main artery out of Ipswich - the desserts served here are truly out of this world and wouldn’t be out of place at a top European hotel.

On weekends there are frequently queues out the door as punters-in-the-know line up for stunning dishes such as Decadent Chocolate Velvet Pots (creamy chocolate mousse, mocha and double chocolate), Red Velvet Delight (light fluffy red velvet cake platter) and Home Made Caramel or Turkish Delight Semi-freddo.

‘To Share’ options include a decadent tasting platter for 2 such as Death by Chocolate or the J’Adore 3-Tier Dessert Tower.

Must try is the Panna Cotta 3-in-1 tasting platter (vanilla bean, mocha and mixed berry) – a slice of heaven served on an ornate platter.

Daily specials include the likes of waffles 3 ways, and crepes such as caramelised banana with indulgent butterscotch sauce, caramel semi-freddo and strawberries.

At the counter you’ll find smaller packages of deliciousness like truffles dusted with gold, salted caramel cupcakes and gluten-free muffins.

To accompany there’s well-brewed coffee, tea, mocha and hot chocolate.

Nice to know – Every week the chef/owner dreams up new creations and variations on the menu dishes so no 2 desserts will be exactly alike.

Need to know – There are gluten-free options such as chocolate flourless cake and all chocolate items are gluten-free. Plenty of free off-street parking is available at the back of the shopping centre.
