Hoyts Cinemas

Brisbane

One of the world’s largest cinemas, HOYTS, has re-opened for movie-goers offering $10 movie tickets on all sessions*, with the option to order tickets, food, and drinks in advance via the HOYTS App (Google Play and Apple Store) and website.

New release blockbusters coming soon are Russell Crowe’s Unhinged, romantic comedy The Broken Hearts Gallery, Judd Apatow’s latest comedy The King of Staten Island, Disney’s live action Mulan, Christopher Nolan’s epic Tenet, thriller New Mutants, comedy Bill & Ted Face The Music and more.

HOYTS Cinemas

Movies set to screen from July include those that were released just before the COVID-19 crisis struck, including audience favourites Bloodshot, Bad Boys for Life, 1917, and The Gentlemen, as well as loads of family movies - Sonic The Hedgehog, Jumanji: The Next Level, Dolittle, Addams Family, Call of the Wild - and retro faves Ghostbusters (1984), The Goonies, Matilda, Labyrinth, plus all 8 Harry Potter movies, to name just a few.

With plenty of movies on offer, there is no better place to escape the cold winter weather than at your local HOYTS cinema, where you can sit back, relax and recline in comfort with HOYTS powered recliners boasting extra leg room and wider seats.

HOYTS Cinemas

For the ultimate cinematic experience, you can hire a cinema for a private movie screening for 20 people, with popcorn and drink provided for every guest.

Nice to know - All HOYTS cinemas are licensed so guests can enjoy a glass of wine or beer while watching a movie. In addition, movie-goers can enjoy Ben and Jerry’s ice-cream at Sunnybank or Baskin-Robbins at Stafford.

Need to know* - $10 movie tickets are valid for a limited time only. Surcharges apply to Xtremescreen sessions.

In line with Queensland government regulations, HOYTS has introduced additional cleaning protocols and in-cinema seat separation, while encouraging online bookings and social distancing.
