Friday Night Jazz

Studio 188

Friday Night Jazz at Studio 188 is the perfect way to kick back and unwind at the end of the week – in an intimate cabaret space inside an historic church with a glass of wine or beer and some hot live jazz.

This Friday night Imaya brings a high energy blend of Afro-Cuban rhythms and flamenco to the stage in a set that ranges from virtuosic playing to sentimental melodies. Imaya is a well-known collaboration of Brisbane’s best flamenco, world and Latin musicians, featuring lead singer Susanna O’Leary, veteran flamenco guitarist Cameron de la Vega, percussionist Pablo Matus and montuno keys player Miguel Calderon.

There’s a licensed bar onsite, serving beer, wine, cocktails, dips and Turkish, cheese platters and bar snacks. Full ticket price includes either a cheese platter or dips and bread.

Need to know – Tickets are available online till 4pm on Fri Mar 27, and after that at the door. 3 show packages can be bought for $54 and for groups of 6+ tickets are $20.
