ETHIOPIAN AFRICAN RESTAURANT HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Down a colourful shabby laneway lies Ethiopian African Restaurant, a litttle slice of real Africa.

This cosy resturant is always packed with a colourful African clientele who gather to dine on traditional staples to share, like Key Wat ( a spicy meat dish), Doro Wat (chicken stew dish with spices) or Shero Wat ( spiced chickpea stew), Diced Ethiopia Meat dishes and Venetarian or Lamb Dibs to mop up with Injera (thick traditional bread), with divine Ethiopian coffee served in a pot.

Décor is a basic no-frills kitout save for of a crude painted wooden giraffe and several scenes of Africa, with the atmosphere enlivened by the happy loud bantering of the customers.
