Earth Frequency Festival

Ivory's Rock

Earth Frequency Festival is a music, arts, lifestyle and environmental festival held over 4 days in the beautiful surrounds of Ivory’s Rock in the Scenic Rim, less than an hour from Brisbane CBD and just 20 mins from Ipswich.

On offer at the 4-day festival is a dynamic, colourful mixture of live and electronic music, visionary art, performance, workshops and lectures, with the bonus of a creative Family Realms and kids space.

Music fans will be treated throughout to a wide range of music styles on 3 stages, ranging from live bands, to original electronic producers and DJs, including Reggae, Dubstep, Techno, Glitch-Hop, World Music, Progressive, Hip-Hop, Psytrance, Drum and Bass, Folk, Funk and Down-Tempo.

Not to be missed is the amazing Performance Art, a signature of the festival, with main stage fire shows, the indigenous welcome to country and opening ceremony, as well as roving performers, special stage shows and random acts of spontaneous theatre.

The Luminarium, the Festival’s awe-inspiring gallery, showcases the works from the impressive collection of visionary artists who explore themes of spirituality, connectivity, consciousness and planetary transformation.

Meantime the Festival’s stunning outdoor installations, from shade structures to recycled art, lanterns, domes, yurts and hanging art help to create a magical and immersive gathering space.

The Family Realm, a large, shady space in the middle of the Festival is where those with young ones in tow can go to recuperate and chill out, or get hands-on with some creative activities (circus, craft, dance, games and painting) in the Kids Space.
while a special Toddlers zone offers a sandpit, paddle pool, play gym and toys.

For sustenance, The Earth Frequency Market Place has a huge array of stalls and tent cafes, such as Yaman Traditional Yemen Food, Potato Swirls, The Chai Temple, Mexican Feast, Govindas Pure Vegetarian, Get vegan with Jadda, a wood-fired pizza ‘bistro’, dim sim kitchen and the Exodus Coffee Lounge.

There’s also a fascinating line-up of eclectic stalls peddling everything from henna to shiatsu, eco-fashion to trinkets and treasures.
