Cinnamon & Co Vegan Cafe

CINNAMON & CO HAVE CLOSED ON OCTOBER 8, 2023.

Cinnamon & Co is a charming, two-level vegan cafe in West End dishing up delicious plant-based fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Owned by hospitality veteran Tasia Amber, Cinnamon & Co is the latest incarnation of Wild Spice Kitchen, the food truck that was parked permanently beside Paper Moon Cafe in Annerley. 

Perched along Hardgrave Road in the historic row of shops near the Rialto Theatre (1926), the cafe offers dining at street level in a warm, inviting space that features polished floorboards, rustic timber and terracotta walls; while downstairs the cosy basement is  furnished with retro couches and armchairs, and a big booth suitable for large groups. 

Fans of Wild Spice will be happy to know that some of the food truck's most popular items have made it on to the cafe's brunch menu including The Amelie (cheezy tofu scramble served with warm croissant, balsamic tomatoes, hash browns and house made confit garlic aioli) and Mac 'n' Cheese made with house made cheez sauce (cashews, onions, potato and nooch). 

Otherwise, there's smashed avo with roast pumpkin hummus and beetroot relish on sourdough, smoky beans on Turkish toast with avocado and chipotle aioli, and vegan French toast served with cinnamon sugar, infused maple or butterscotch sauce, and seasonal fruit such as grilled peaches.  

Lunch-type offerings include quesadillas stuffed with spicy buffalo chickpeas, vegan mince and cheez, a sweet potato and black bean burger, and Fungi Party Burger - mushroom patty, onion jam, truffle aioli, avocado and rocket on brioche bun.

Plus, there's a scrumptious selection of sweet treats and flaky pastries supplied by French Tarts.

Coffee on pour is by Coffee Supreme, served along with a range of teas, Hrvst juices, and more. 

Need to know - Cinnamon & Co is currently open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.
