Chit Chat Bite Beer

CHIT CHAT BITE BEER HAS CLOSED AND BEEN REPLACED BY THE FIFTH SEASON CAFE.

Chit Chat Bite Beer is a cute little South Brisbane kiosk cafe bar serving mouthwatering Asian fusion cuisine, coffee and beer.

Chit Chat was created with the idea that diners can enjoy a ‘chit chat’ over a bite to eat and a beverage. The café is outdoors with a relaxed vibe, making diners feel at home. Food and drink can be enjoyed at one of their tables or even picnic style on the grass in front of the café.

The café serves breakfast with a small menu of Australian favourites, such as a big breakfast which includes all the typical big breaky ingredients. Chit Chat also serves Asian influenced dishes in the morning, such as an egg roll filled with ham and cheese and a pork and egg sandwich.

For lunch, diners can order a range of sandwiches, schnitzels and other ‘bites’, which can also be ordered to takeaway. Popular sandwiches include their Fried Chicken Fillet, which is cooked with Asian spices, bulk salad and topped with Chit Chat’s homemade sauces. If you’re feeling adventurous order their special duck sandwich – it will certainly please your taste buds.

Fresh bread is filled with duck, cucumber, spring onion and a sweet soy sauce - basically a crispy duck pancake in a sandwich.

On the drinks menu, you will find classic coffees and teas, as well as matcha (which has been imported from Japan), bubble milk tea, smoothies and soft drinks. For something a little more exciting take a look at their mocktail menu, featuring Chit Chat’s personal favourite, a Chit Chatter. Of course, there are also a range of popular beers and ciders available to purchase.

Need to know – There is a centre carpark as well as street parking.
