THE BURRITO SHACK HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
Burrito Shack by Tuckeria is the first food pod to pop up in the Brunswick St Mall, bringing simple Mexican street food to Valley day trippers and late night revellers.
With takeaway food the main custom, there’s also a couple of chairs and table out front for those who want to linger. The menu is short and sweet, with a choice of Street Burritos, Nachos or Tacos. Nachos (beef, chicken or vegetarian) come topped with guacamole, sour cream and salsa while Burritos (also beef chicken or vegetarian) come with Mexican rices, black beans and pico de gallo, salsa and cheese.
Meanwhile the tacos have chicken, beef or black bean fillings and tortilla chips with lime and salsa are also available.
Need to know – Salsa comes mild, medium or hot. Drinks are $3 or $2 with any purchase.
