Brisbane Ice-Cream Festival
West End
The super popular Brisbane Ice Cream Festival is returning bigger and better, with a sweet new format for its 5th year, to the old Peters Ice-Cream Factory precinct at West Village from March 26-April 9.
*The Brisbane Ice-cream Festival has been postponed by a week from March 19 - April 3rd to new dates above.
Building on previous years’ sell-out events, Brisbane families will be able to celebrate all things creamy and coned over not one, not two, but three weekends to make sure everyone can get a scoop of the action!
April 9 - Chef’s Playground will return to end the frosty activities with a dessert degustation that will be reminiscent of your favourite childhood pleasure, Friday and Saturday nights at 6pm. With the culinary skill and style of four of Brisbane’s best chefs - Phillip Johnson (e’cco Bistro and Philip Johnson Catering), William Wallace (Executive Chef at William Wallace Group), and Matt Golinski (Ready Steady Cook and Peppers Noosa Resort) - sensational sweet and savoury takes on the dessert that loves to be experimented with will be churned out for just $129 per person. Tickets are extremely limited to this event so get in quick while you can!
Mar 26 & 27 - Brisbane’s littlest ice cream lovers will be treated to an entire weekend of festivities with the brand new Sundae Funday activation! Kids will be entertained with cool and crafty activities before tucking into a complimentary scoop of gelato from West Village’s very own, world-renowned Anita Gelato. The sessions will take place at 10am, 12pm and 2pm on Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27 with tickets selling for just $10 per child.
Throughout the festival, those craving a sweet escape from the working week can step into West Village for the Ice Cream All Day and All Night offerings. A variety of sweet specials will be available from March 18 through to the finale of the festival, which will be an All Weekend ice cream event featuring some of your all time favourite vendors like Ungermann Brothers and Roll It Ice Cream Co.
Good to know - The old West End ice-cream factory, which opened in the 1920s and closed in 1996, is part of the stunning West Village precinct, which combines the best of the old and new.
Need to know - Places are strictly limited so be quick to book!
