Brisbane Burger Fest

Newstead

Brisbane's epic burger festival, Burger Fest, is returning to Newstead for its 4th year, courtesy of The Triffid.

Note that the August event has been cancelled due to ongoing COVID border closures, with a new date TBA in October.

For one day only the iconic music venue will be shutting down Stratton Street and filling it with Brisbane’s best burger joints and craft beer by Stone and Wood.

Burger Fest will feature a line-up of Brisbane’s most famed buns, with burger legends Ben's Burgers, Miss Kay’s, Moo Free BurgersZe Pickle, Benz on Miller and The Triffid's own burgers hitting the grill. Each store will be offering one of their loved classics along with an exclusive Burger Fest burger and a side.

Festival goers should be sure to bring an appetite and wear comfy pants, with not just the opportunity to eat your way through the best burgers in Brisbane, but burger-eating competitions to enter.

Meanwhile there’ll be live entertainment from local musos, beer pong, live art installations, a food hall and kids entertainment throughout the day.

Need to know - Kids under 16 years admitted free before 4pm.
