The Antipasto Shop
Greenslopes
THE ANTIPASTO SHOP HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
The Antipasto Shop is a little slice of Italy with a Greek twist in Greenslopes, specialising in artisan antipasto, olives and dips; all produced in-house with recipes handed down from generation to generation.
Family owned and operated, you’ll find the Antipasto Shop in a little cluster of shops on busy Logan Road. Inside the cosy, continental deli, dried rosemary hangs from the ceiling while shelves and fridges are filled to the brim with local – like Schulte’s small goods from the Lockyer Valley - and imported goods. There’s cured meats, cheeses, olive oils, fresh pastas, hot peppers, pickles and plenty more.
The best sellers though, without a doubt, would have to be the shop’s house made dips, marinated feta and veges. Popular dips include Moroccan hommus and olive tapenade with balsamic and rosemary; while feta comes marinated in fresh herbs and limone or chilli. Then there’s 8 hour wood-smoked Queensland mushrooms marinated in roasted garlic, BBQ pumpkin infused with rosemary and roasted red peppers.
Everything made on-site is preservative-free, marinated in top-quality Australian olive oil and is great value. Choose any 3 dips, olives, marinated feta or antipasto for $10.
