The Alley Pitstop

Slacks Creek

THE ALLEY PITSTOP HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED IN FEBRUARY 2023.

The Alley Pitstop  is a cool shipping container cafe in Slacks Creek serving all day breakfast and delicious NZ fare along with locally-roasted coffee.

Located in the parking lot of Gasoline Alley, Harley Davidson's dealership, this pit stop cafe is from the good folks who used to operate Grandma's Kiwi Kitchen in Springwood and Waterford West.

After a short break, Colleen and Andre are back dishing up all day breakfast and kiwi classics like whitebait omelettes, paua fritters, and fish and chips (New Zealand hoki crumbed, battered or oven-fried) served with salad.

Meanwhile, breakfast ranges from a simple avo on toast, and classic bacon and eggs, to Dre's eggs benny (poached eggs, fresh avo, pan-fried kumara and potato, spinach and hollandaise) and The Pitstop French toast topped with bacon, maple syrup and strawberries.

In addition, there are chicken and bacon clubs and grilled sirloin steak sandwiches, served along with wholesome fare like the Vegan Bowl and Salmon Lunch bowl - crispy skin salmon, quinoa, poached egg, spinach, broccolini and roasted truss tomato.

Drinks wise, there's Abrisca coffee, Origin teas, iced lattes, smoothies and kiwi milkshakes made with the Longest Drink in Town syrups.

Nice to know - Customers can grab and go or dine al fresco with plenty of tables provided undercover.
