1970s Horror Double Feature

New Globe Theatre

Get into the Hallowe’en spirit on Sunday afternoon with a Horror Double Feature that is guaranteed to be a real scream at the New Globe Theatre.

Here’s a unique chance to see two 1970s horror classics in an authentic 1970s cinema (some may remember it as the Valley Twin in its hey day).

Screening are two of the most influential and highly profitable independent horror films of all time:

Halloween (1978) - Michael Myers is back to terrorise his hometown of Haddonfield... Starring a young Jamie Lee Curtis

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) - An idyllic summer afternoon drive becomes a nightmare for a group of teenagers when they stumble on Leatherface and his family.

As well as the movies there will be horror readings by Ghoul Shadows and spooky cabaret numbers by Drama Queen Productions.
