After a breakout year on the Australian comedy circuit, Anisa Nandaula is returning to Brisbane with a brand-new stand-up show, No Small Talk - promising big laughs, chaotic life stories and zero filter.

Fresh off sold-out seasons across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, Nandaula quickly became one of Australia’s most exciting new comedy voices following her acclaimed 2025 festival debut. She earned nominations for Best Comedy Show at Adelaide Fringe and Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, while gaining praise from critics and audiences alike.

In No Small Talk, Nandaula dives into the chaos of her everyday life - from neighbour feuds and workplace drama to nearly getting into a fight and returning to Africa after ten years away, bringing back a suitcase full of hilarious stories.

Born in Uganda in 2001, Nandaula moved to Australia at age eight and grew up in Rockhampton, Queensland. Her comedy blends sharp social observations with relatable stories about dating, identity and navigating Australian society as a young Black woman.

The rising comic has also appeared on Thank God You're Here and as the Gen Z team captain on Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation hosted by Anne Edmonds. She’s also set to appear in the upcoming season of Taskmaster Australia and the new ABC sketch comedy series URZILA.

With rave reviews and a rapidly growing fanbase, No Small Talk is shaping up to be one of the must-see comedy shows of the season.
