Ladbrokes Doomben 10,000 Day on 18 May at Doomben Racecourse is the second race day of The Star Stradbroke Season and the start of the carnival’s Group 1 racing.

Top of the card is the $1.5million Ladbrokes Doomben 10,000 for elite sprinters, named in the world's Top 100 races. The day also sees the running of the Group 2 Spirit Of Boom Classic and the Group 3 Rough Habit Plate, the latter a key reference for the Ladbrokes Queensland Derby held two weeks’ later.

Feel closer to the action on this thrilling raceday and savour the fine food, wine, and entertainment packages available to be enjoyed in Doomben's grandstand terraces, suites and marquees. After the last race, head to the Champions Bar for a musical finale.

XXXX Doomben Cup Day on 25 May, the third raceday of The Star Stradbroke Season, sees the running of Queensland’s premier middle distance-staying contest, the $1million XXXX Doomben Cup.

Last year, Huetor made history in this iconic Group 1 contest at Doomben Racecourse with his second successive victory. The Cup is one of several black type races on this exciting raceday's card.

Food and beverage packages for every taste and budget can be enjoyed on course, from share platters served on the public lawn to delicious dining in the Hometurn Buffet and The Grove Marquee. And when the sun goes down, the party continues with entertainment in the Champions Bar following the last race!

Ladbrokes Derby Day also sees the first of the season's Fashions on the Field competition with racegoers encouraged to be creative with the classic Derby Day fashion theme of ‘black and white’. The top three best dressed entrants will be awarded a host of fantastic prizes.

A diverse range of food and beverage packages will be on offer. Whether you're trackside on the lawns, in a marquee, or an air-conditioned function space, you can relax, wine and dine in style, yet not miss a minute of the action on track.

Seven Oaks Day on 8 June at Eagle Farm Racecourse is the penultimate day of The Star Stradbroke Season and a traditional celebration of fillies, fashion and more.

The headline race, the Group 1 Seven Queensland Oaks, tests the best staying fillies from around Australasia over 2200 metres. It's a race that has launched many future champions, including the mighty Winx.

Glamour, grace, sophistication and elegance are the hallmarks of Seven Oaks Day fashion with Fashions on the Field judges looking to award the three best style standouts.

For a truly memorable day out, choose from a range of hospitality packages, including canapes, bubbles and margaritas in the chic surrounds of the Society Rooftop or buffet dining in the beautifully appointed St Leger Marquee.

‘Black and white with a touch of red’ is the day's fashion theme and judges in the final Fashions on the Field event will be looking for the ‘wow’ factor when it comes time to award prizes to the top three best dressed entrants.

Delicious food and beverage packages are available in a range of on-course locations, from Eagle Farm's manicured public lawns to the elegant surrounds of private spaces and marquees. Plus, fantastic entertainment is lined up for the public lawn stage once the racing ends.
