Heeretea

Sunnybank

Heeretea, the popular Asian franchise, has livened up the Brisbane tea scene with their bespoke tea bar located in the heart of Sunnybank.

The expansive tea shop is decked out with tables, booths, bar seating and even al fresco dining. There’s also a little courtyard out the back. The décor is minimalist and cosy, with every nook decorated to ensure its’ ‘instagrammable’.

The tea selection is huge, with fruit-based teas, milk teas, classic teas and bespoke to Heeretea, cheese teas. Their watermelon topped with frothy cream cheese is quite a popular order – don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.

To quench the thirst, try one of their fruit teas which are made on fresh fruit instead of using syrups. Not only do they taste delicious, but they look incredible too.

Looking for more of a dessert? Sip on their crème brulee milk tea. This is where a milk tea is poured on top of a brulee, creating a divine marble effect in the cup that tastes like heaven.

Their cups are quite the icon too, with discounts offered if they are reused.

Need to know – Centre parking is available.

Nice to know – At the time of visiting in Feb 2018, Heeretea was on track to launch a dessert menu.
