Adam's Continental Smallgoods

Carole Park

Adam’s Continental Smallgoods, located half way between Brisbane and Ipswich in industrial Carole Park, is South East Queensland’s worst kept shopping secret.

On any given day (except Sunday), customers queue for top-cuts of fresh meat (prepared onsite with no preservatives), excellent selection of smallgoods – smoked ham and bacon, sausages and salami, leberkaese and schinken, speck and chorizo - and top-notch cheeses.

Adam’s Continental Smallgoods Carole Park

In business for more than 30 years, this family-owned and operated butcher shop and deli was started by Adam and Margaret Markovich. Today it is arguably the best butcher and continental deli in Brisbane with a vast array of Eastern European delicacies and Australian specialty foods.

Here you’ll find jars of jam, preserves, pickles, peppers, pasta, spices, sweets and chocolates to name just a few of the items available.

But before you get ready to stock your pantry, there’s a café in the corner with tables and chairs provided where you can enjoy a cup of Di Bella coffee made by matriarch Margaret.

Nice to know – If you’re entertaining, Adam’s makes a perfect platter with traditional cured meats (made the old-fashioned way) and top-quality cheeses.
