Brisbane Cbd

The Brisbane Club, with views over Anzac and Post Office Squares, provides the perfect venue for your special event, cocktail party or wedding with six stunning function rooms to choose from.

Whether your function is small and intimate or large and gala, The Brisbane Club can meet your expectations. The President’s Room furnished with fine antiques, artworks and chandeliers is ideal for intimate lunches or dinners of up to 12 guests, while the Members Dining Room with high vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows can accommodate up to 250 guests.

For a truly unique experience, the Cellar Dining Room and Bar (located in the wine cellar) features a full bar and traditional dining room panelled in mahogany. Guests are welcome to peruse the cellar, rated as one of the best in the Southern Hemisphere, to select wines to accompany their meal.

Brisbane Club

The Brisbane Club prides itself on epicurean excellence and boasts some impressive food and drinks packages for private functions; from breakfast events to working lunches and cocktail parties to weddings. The latter two include a selection of sparkling, white and red wines, domestic and imported beers, soft drink, mineral water and orange juice.

Canapés range from hot and cold, like smoked Huon salmon with crème fraiche and caper, goats curd rolled in olive crumbs, crumbed camembert and peppered strawberry, beef cheek arancini and confit duck leg with wild mushroom risotto.

Entrées and main course dishes are fine dining at its best. Entrées might include smoked chicken salad with blue cheese and walnuts, twice baked goats cheese soufflé, game farm quail tempura or prawn with miso eggplant and smoked pork hock consommé. Mains make a memorable meal with the likes of North Queensland barramundi with spanner crab croquette, yearling beef fillet with lentil mushroom ragout, organic chicken with sweet corn puree and duck breast with potato pave, pea mousse, amarena cherry and pepper compote.

Desserts look as tantalizing as they taste. Think mocha torte, strawberry romanoff, raspberry and white chocolate panna cotta, or chocolate and elderflower mousse with fresh berry salad, raspberry streusel and spun raspberry sugar.

Brisbane Club

Menu tastings can be arranged for all Wedding Bookings, while guests who select the Romance Package can speak with the Executive Chef to customise their menu. Guests are welcome to view the function rooms (by appointment only) Monday through Friday from 9-11 and 3-5.

Nice to know - The Brisbane Club’s experienced wedding planner can organise floral arrangements, entertainment (pianist, band, DJ), decorations and more.

Need to know - You do not have to be a member of the club to host a private function here.
