Bricks 4 Kidz is a place where children can enjoy building and playing with LEGO bricks in a unique non-competitive environment, both after school and during the holidays.

Combining a love of LEGO bricks with fun and learning, Bricks 4 Kidz delivers a host of engaging activities for school aged students with the added benefit of improving their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) learning capabilities*.

Children who attend also get the chance to build their self-confidence and independence, develop fine motor skills and learn to problem solve whilst enjoying the freedom to make decisions about what they want to build and getting the rare satisfaction of having built something from scratch.

After School Classes

Bricks 4 Kidz term-long LEGO® classes are built around a theme in which children build model plans designed by architects and engineers. Using technical project kits, motors, gears and axles, children get to develop their critical thinking and spatial intelligence. Learning as they go, they create fun and exciting models that actually move or characters that are based around the theme

School Holidays

During the school holidays, Bricks 4 Kidz offer half or full day workshops combining fun with technical elements. Whether expert or beginner, children have plenty of time to learn new LEGO® building skills as they rotate from one awesome activity to the next. There’s no need for parents to hang around, as instructors (with a great adult to child ratio), all with excellent LEGO skills, are there to mentor the children and assist with the development of social and emotional skills such as patience, teamwork and communication.

Fun Birthday Parties

Bricks 4 Kidz also offers a wide range of birthday party options. Each party revolves around a favourite theme chosen by the child, which can be anything from Bat League, Mining and Crafting to Angry Birdies and Bad Piglets. Often inspired by movies such as Jurassic Park® and Star Wars®, children are able to build popular characters or even use their imagination to create some of their own.

*Advancing Education with STEM

The importance of maths and science education grows with each passing year and STEM based degrees make university graduates more employable in an ever-changing world of fast moving technology. Bricks 4 Kidz Brisbane Inner East offers a unique approach to STEM learning with a recent US study by AEM showing that participation in Bricks 4 Kidz programs were associated with improvement in maths and science skills. Students demonstrated greater understanding of age-appropriate curriculum at the end of their BRICKS 4 KIDZ® participation.
