Southern Downs Harvest
Killarney
Southern Downs Harvest is an exciting culinary event showcasing the amazing array of fresh, autumnal produce grown in the Southern Downs region of Queensland, set in the picturesque foothills outside Killarney at historic Melrose Station.
Join local growers on Saturday, May 25 for a delicious, inspired luncheon prepared on-site by celebrated chefs including Richard Ousby (The Stokehouse Q), Jocelyn Hancock (Cake and Bake), Caroline Jones (3 Girls Skipping) and Bev Ruskey (Spring Creek Mountain Café).
Taste ingredients that will inspire you to question where your food comes from and what delicious meals you can create using seasonal produce.
Southern Downs Harvest is a non-profit organisation run by and for the benefit of the local community. The hosts, organisers, kitchen, wait staff and many of the producers volunteer their time unconditionally to ensure that this event is a success. All profits are donated to a nominated community group or groups.
