ARIA Award-winner Dan Sultan leads a cast of more than 200 singers and musicians for one night only in Songs of Justice, an extraordinary concert event inspired by the music and ideals of social justice.
With his rich and soulful voice and memorable rock, roots and blues hooks, Dan Sultan will be joined by legendary Women in Voice artist Leah Cotterell whose work spans political cabaret to jazz, as well asThe Voice Australia grand finalist Ellen Reed, singer-songwriter duo Mundy-Turner and Songwoman Maroochy of the Turrbal People.
Songs of Justice also features the combined voices of the QPAC Choir, Queensland Children’s Hospital Choir, Lotus Place Voices, With One Voice Brisbane, Songlines Choir, Freedom Train and the Absolutely Everybody Choir. Popular Brisbane personality Kay McGrath will MC the concert with The Honourable Dame Quentin Bryce as the concert’s guest speaker.
Nice to know - This concert supports Micah Projects and Lotus Place, which provide services and opportunities in the community to create justice and respond to injustice.
