Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail
Ready for a road trip? Destination Scenic Rim's Farm Gate Trail returns on Saturday, October 23, from 9am-3pm, welcoming you to the country, where you can learn where your food comes from, meet the farmers, and fill your empty eskies with fresh local produce and more.
A group of passionate Scenic Rim locals and primary producers will once again give visitors a taste of the Scenic Rim and invite the city to the country to showcase their slice of Queensland.
This fantastic community initiative, driven by local tourism association Destination Scenic Rim, celebrates Queensland agriculture, and gives visitors a chance to meet and support local farmers directly, as well as the perfect excuse for a country drive just over an hour from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It’s the ideal day trip, or weekend away!
With a range of stops on offer, visitors will get the chance to immerse themselves in Scenic Rim life and stock the empty esky. From fresh produce from the Scenic Rim Farm Shop, cuddles with lambs at Towri Sheep Cheeses, selfies in the sunflower fields at Scenic Rim Flower Farm and Pretty Produce, stocking up on artisan dairy products at Tommerup’s Dairy, to beer tasting at Scenic Rim Brewery, visitors will leave with full stomachs and a love for the Scenic Rim region.
Download the map and pick the stops you'd like to visit, with 24 farms, vineyards, breweries and distilleries to choose from: Summer Land Camels, Scenic Rim Farm Shop, Coco and Myrtle, Scenic Rim Mushrooms, Scenic Rim Brewery, Bunjurgen Estate, Running Creek Beef, Olive View Estate, Towri Sheep Cheeses, Scenic Rim Flower Farm, Tommerup’s Dairy Farm, Bee All Natural Honey, Sarabah Estate Vineyard, O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyard, Mountview Alpacas, Pretty Produce, Witches Falls Winery, Christmas Creek Garlic, White's Farm, The Overflow Estate 1895, Ladybrook Farm, Greenlee Farm, Tamborine Mountain Distillery and Cauldron Distillery.
