A Salon of Larrikins
Cremorne Theatre QPAC
A Salon of Larrikins is vaudeville at its best brought to you by Ozfank Theatre, playing at QPAC on January 18 and 19.
This comedy of errors, created by Jacqui Carroll, combines music, dance and theatre into a crazy, dazzling show that is great holiday entertainment for all ages.
Enjoy The Hot Canary, The Typewriter, Kabalevsky’s Comedians Suite, The Swan, La Cumparsita, Flight of the Bumble Bee and more in this Salon of Larrikins, performed by Camerata’s virtuoso musical soloists.
Be regaled by extra special, super-fast tap dancing, excruciating pointe work, fake ballet and an Oscar-winning death scene.
These amazing feats and more will be performed by ‘mature’ ex-members of Queensland Ballet, Sydney Dance Company and Australian Dance Theatre including the talented Anthony Shearsmith, Shane Weatherby, Rachel Madonna Waters, Jayden Grogan, Kristen Duffus and John Nobbs.
The performance also features musicians from Camerata - Queensland's Chamber Orchestra.
Nice to know - Bring the kids along and let them enjoy this crazy wonderland of music and dance! Tickets are only $15 for under 12s.
