All aboard the vintage steam train for a nostalgic weekend ride with Queensland Pioneer Steam Railway from historic Swanbank station and return.
After being closed during the recent corona-virus lockdown, the train is back on track, running on Saturday and Sunday for a maximum of 80 passengers, with strict social distancing and government COVID-19 regulations in place.
Trains will depart at 9am, 11am and 1pm and return to Swanbank station for cleaning, with no stops along the scenic journey. There'll be a couple of food vans at the station for refreshments before and afterwards.
Need to know - Family groups of more than 8 will be allocated separate carriages and all passengers will be required to use hand sanitizer before boarding the train. All passenger groups will be pre-screened by questionnaire, which will be sent by email in the 72 hours prior to travel and rechecked on the day of travel to reduce the risk of Covid Spread. Tickets must be pre-booked.
