Concert Hall QPAC

Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) will welcome artists back to the Concert Hall stage for the first time in nearly three months, with True North, a free online concert to celebrate Queensland Day.

 The Centre will present the special concert event via Youtube (see below), featuring performances from a range of leading Queensland arts companies and independent artists live-streamed from QPAC’s Concert Hall stage (link below).

Hosted by musical theatre star Amy Lehpamer, this one time only concert features writer/actor/singer Steven Oliver, members of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Camerata and Queensland Ballet, Opera Queensland’s Rosario La Spina and Rebecca Cassidy, Southern Cross Soloists’ Alex Raineri, Irish folk quartet Sasta, musical theatre stars Alex Woodward and Shrubshri Kandiah, contemporary music artists Robbie Miller and Tom Thum, the inimitable Katie Noonan with Zac Hurren, and the QPAC Chamber Choir led by Choirmaster Tim Sherlock. Special messages will be delivered by Queensland Ballet’s Li Cunxin, QPAC Chief Executive John Kotzas, QPAC Elder in Residence Aunty Colleen Wall and Minister for the Arts The Hon Leeanne Enoch MP throughout the concert event.
