Night of the Nerds

A highlight of World Science Festival 2023, Night of the Nerds is a very, very nerdy, variety game show coming to Playhouse, QPAC on March 25, 2023.

Comedian Mark Humphreys will boldly go where no host has gone before as two all-star teams of scientists, tech heads, creatives and funny people face off in a series of challenges to determine who will be crowned the ultimate nerd.

Health and science reporter Tegan Taylor will be on hand to fact check, with comedic master Dan Ilic and science communicator extraordinaire Angharad Yeo returning as your valiant team captains.

The house superband led by musical great Patience Hodgson is sure to keep everyone’s toes tapping as our unyielding servings of science keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat and rolling in the aisle (both at once, just like Schrodinger's Cat).

Who dares to explore the nerdy unknown? Who will lead their team to the ultimate nerdy victory? Will there be explosions? Well, there’s one thing we do know; whatever happens, it will be hilarious.
