BCC Treasure Troves
Buy nothing new month is nearly at an end, so head to Brisbane City Council's Treasure Troves on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October, 2022, and grab a bargain on all things music and entertainment, including CDs and DVDs.
Did you know last year, Brisbane City Council Treasure Troves saved over 500 tonnes of items from going to landfill? Shop at Council’s Treasure Troves to save money while also saving items from going to waste.
The Treasure Troves have an assortment of second-hand items for sale. You can find a range of unique treasures, including kids toys, books and music, sporting equipment and furniture - there’s something for everyone.!
If you’re interested in donating your pre-loved items to the Treasure Troves, visit one of Council’s four resource recovery centres. Donations are accepted 365 days a year, just make sure your items are in clean and working order before you donate
Council’s Treasure Troves are operated by the Endeavour Foundation, who provide opportunities to people living with a disability. By choosing to buy second-hand, you’re saving money and helping to support a great charity, while keeping Brisbane clean, green and sustainable.
