Lord Mayor's Multicultural Business Awards


Nominations for the 2024 Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Awards, which recognise Brisbane’s multicultural pioneers, entrepreneurs and industry leaders, are now open until 21 July 2024.

These prestigious awards celebrate Brisbane's diversity and recognise the important role multicultural business leaders play in our city and economy.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Awards, which have crowned 30 winners and celebrated countless multicultural business leaders since its inception.

There are three award categories recognising accomplishments across the full depth and breadth of Brisbane's business sectors: Nick Xynias Multicultural Young Business Person of the Year, Multicultural Entrepreneur of the Year and Multicultural Business Person of the Year.

The 2024 winners will be announced at the 2024 Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Awards event, which will be held at City Hall on November 8, with tickets available for purchase from September.

Proceeds from the event go towards the Lord Mayor's Multicultural Business Scholarship Program. The scholarship program provides aspiring business leaders with the knowledge and skills to expand their business capabilities and continue the legacy of a strong multicultural business sector in Brisbane.
