Aerospace Experience Day 2021
Aviation High School
Aviation High School is hosting its annual Aerospace Experience Day on Saturday, March 6 with rocket launching, drone flying, flight simulators and more.
Once a year Aviation High School, an independent public high school, opens its doors to primary and high school students, their parents, and the general public for an exciting day of aviation and aerospace experiences.
Designed to promote aviation careers, this Open Day is ideal for anyone who is thinking about working in the aviation and aerospace industries.

On the day, visitors will be able to chat to aviation and aerospace industry personnel about jobs and careers in the industries: Qantas engineers and pilots, Airbus engineers, Airworks Helicopter pilots, Brisbane Airport air traffic controllers, and DJI drone pilots. In addition, education providers will be on hand to talk about courses and pathways into the aviation industry including Qantas Pilot Academy and UAV Training.
Other organisations that will be attending are Aviation Australia, Airservies Australia, Gliding Queensland, Its Rocket Science, Redcliffe Aero Club, Mach 5, Go Fly, iFly, Pfi, QFES, QGAir (Rotary) and more.

Meanwhile, fun hands-on experiences include making and launching compressed air and water powered rockets, using flight simulators, and witnessing helicopters land and depart on the oval (weather permitting).
