Snowflakes in Stanthorpe is a magical, winter festival that gives visitors a real snow-based experience, over the weekend of July 2-4, 2021.

Every second year, the coolest town in Queensland gears up to host thousands of visitors on a winter family holiday with a guaranteed chance of throwing snowballs.

The festival features three full days of crafts, activities, markets and entertainment at both the Snowgrounds and Stanthorpe's main street. Rug up and enjoy the street parade, winter market stalls and bocce rink and snowman toss, and, after 5pm, a lantern parade, laser light show and fireworks.

At the Snowgrounds, hit the ice-skating rink, wander the winter markets, watch the fashion parade, indulge in the international food fest and relax in the local wine and beer marquee. For younger ones, there's a heap of free activities including snow globes, an enchanted forest, jumping castle, petting zoo and a special Frostys Fun Run.
