Open Day & Laneway Market

The Workshops Rail Museum is hosting its annual Open Day with FREE entry for all and a pop-up artisan laneway market from BrisStyle.

Here's a rare chance to come along and spend a day at the award-winning museum, exploring the engines, vintage train carriages, and model railway, checking out the fascinating Bush Mechanics Exhibition and the Meteorite exhibit, discovering the Sciencentre and browsing the laneway markets, where everything is bespoke and handmade.

There's also plenty for kids to do, including the fantastic interactive Nippers play area which includes dress-ups, mock-up train carriages and stations, colouring in and story books on trains.

Nice to know - Allow at least 3 hours to explore all that there is to offer. Either BYO food and picnic in the grounds or there is an onsite cafeteria.
