From the creative mastermind behind House of Mirrors and 1,000 Doors, Kaleidoscope by Keith Courtney is a mesmerising symphony of light and sound staged in a breathtaking mirror maze, has landed at Brisbane Powerhouse until October 3.

Kaleidoscope

Arriving in Brisbane direct from Arts Centre Melbourne, Kaleidoscope is an all-ages immense and immersive artwork of glass, steel, mirrors and moving prisms where visitors navigate a 700sqm maze of corridors on Brisbane Powerhouse’s Performance Lawn.

Kaleidoscope

By day, enter a sparkling crystal palace as the open-air structure transports you to another world. As the sun sets, bask in a wash of kaleidoscopic colour and light.

Kaleidoscope

“This is a multi-sensory and at times physical experience where the visitor is completely submerged in sound and light - a vortex of serenity to somewhere or nowhere. No one will have the same experience in Kaleidoscope” according to installation artist Courtney.

Kaleidoscope, Brisbane Powerhouse

Kaleidoscope comes to Brisbane as part of Brisbane Festival, taking up residence on the Performance Lawn at Brisbane Powerhouse from August 11 to October 3, before embarking on an international tour.
