Carnival of the Animals

Circa’s global hit Carnival of the Animals returns to QPAC this school holiday, bringing whimsical tales of creatures of the land and sea to the Playhouse stage, from June 29 to July 2, 2022. 

Audiences young and young-at-heart will be enthralled as Carnival of the Animals whisks you away on a thrilling circus escapade inspired by Camille Saint-Saëns delightful salute to feathers, fur and fins; bringing this classical music suite to life for a new generation of circus, music and animal lovers. 

Circa’s world-famous acrobats will be joined by eight exceptional young artists from Brisbane. Together they will fly, tumble, leap and spin their way through the wondrous worlds of the animal kingdom in this re-imagined production.

Brisbane audiences will be the first in Australia to see this very special version of Circa’s acclaimed family favourite, bigger and better than ever!
