SoBa Social closed their cafe at end of 2019 but are still open for private events and functions.
SoBa Social is a hidden backyard oasis in West End with a lush lawn and succulent garden serving boutique coffee and delicious eats.
Housed in a 1940’s heritage-listed Queenslander, this cute café with California vibe – think pastel pink and cacti – shares its gorgeous space with SoBa’s yoga studio.
Coffee on pour is by Melbourne boutique coffee outfit St Ali and goes down a treat with the delicious treats on offer such as fresh, flaky croissants.
The concise menu includes homemade granola with seasonal fruit and natural yoghurt, free range poached eggs on sourdough, and avocado on organic seeded sourdough with rocket salad and balsamic. For something more substantial, try the grilled raclette served with twice cooked baby potatoes, poached eggs and pickled cucumber.
Besides coffee, there’s Kali organic drinking chocolate, sticky chai and tea.
Nice to know – Once their liquor licence has been approved, SoBa will open on Friday and Saturday evenings for social drinks.
