Redcliffe Jetty Markets

Sunday

Market settings don't come more picturesque than those of the Redcliffe Jetty Markets, especially in the early morning as the sun rises over Moreton Bay.

Strung out along the sea front with the Redcliffe Jetty as a backdrop, these markets, peddling fruit and veges, gourmet produce, snacks, coffee, plants, fashion and arts and craft , are a Sunday institution with locals and visitors alike.

Amongst the myriad of offerings are local Narangba bananas, hive honey, local cheese, smoked pork, eggs from the chicken-hatted Egg Man, didgeridoos, licorice, fisherman's pants and jelly beads.

Meantime for a cheap brunch on the jetty pick up a coffee from Matthew's Espresso and a pancake, German hotdog, Cornish Pastie and a Turkish or wood-fired pizza.
