The Collective Store

Wynnum

The Collective, a splendid little hub of creativity on the main street of Wynnum's business district is the brainchild of silversmith Leonie McIntosh, who has gathered together the handcrafted works of artisans around the country under one roof.

Here's the place to pick up the unique and irresistible - vintage-inspired clothes for children such as Tiny Turtles sun frocks, organic baby tees by Scoop, hand-sewn A-Z cards and Reclaimed Records' vinyl diaries. Mosaic mirrors by Suze Edmondson, merino wool bead rings, tartan flying ducks for the wall, candles in teacups and psychedelic ceramic necklaces add to the charm.

Leonie is also behind 'Wynnum up Late', a quarterly evening street fest whereby shops keep their doors open into the night with mini-events, music and performances to lure shoppers back to their village and connect with the community.
