The Happy Cabin

West End

The Happy Cabin brings a touch of lumberjack chic to Vulture St, with its raw timber floors, cowskin rugs, lanterns and clothing racks made from farming implements and tree branches. And within its homey rustic space lie a cache of unique and highly affordable urban wear hand-selected by owner Leah from around the globe, with the idea that students can afford it.

Amongst the picks are colourful knit dresses from Latvia, novelty socks from Japan, chinos and tees from Mr Simple, Melbourne and gear from the USA, Mexico and Iceland.

Added to the mix are accessories such as handmade jewellery from Spanish designer Depeapa, pocket mirrors, handmade leather pouches from Blackbird and the Owl and quirky home wares such as the Moustache cushion from Hattie.

Plans are also afoot for an in house tea station so customers can get a free cuppa and make themselves at home on one of the comfy armchairs.
