Keira Farm

Mutdapilly

Keira Farm offers stunning glamping, camping and cottage accommodation on a five hundred acre cattle farm just 15 minutes from Ipswich and 45 miniutes from Brisbane, on the edge of the Scenic Rim.

Nestled in between a natural wetland and Warrill Creek, the picturesque and tranquil retreat enjoys scenic views of the Flinders Ranges by day, and by night, a spectacular starry sky. As well as the cattle, the farm is home to wildlife including black swans, magpies, geese and kangaroos.

Guests can opt to stay in Keira Billy Cottage, which is located well away from the main homestead. The cosy, corrugated iron, pioneer-style cottage features log furniture, an outdoor deck to watch the glorious sunrises and sunsets, open fire pit and a luxurious outdoor spa bath.

Outside the tent is your own fire pit, together with camp oven and jaffle iron, esky with ice, crockery, cutlery, kettle and a table and chairs for dining. While there is no electricity, plenty of lanterns are provided, as well as firewood, a bluetooth speaker and power bank for charging phones and devices.

Guests of The Lodge have exclusive access to a purpose built, corrugated iron, gas heated, camp shower and camp toilet. Utilise the private amenities and feel part of the surrounding nature, or if you prefer flushing toilets and hot water shower, the communal amenities block is nearby.

Camping for limited numbers is available on Keira Farm, in a six acre fenced designated area, with an amenities block with flushing toilets and hot showers. Fire wood can be provided for a small fee, with the choice of utilizing the communal fire pit area or one of the individual fire pits. Pets are welcome but must be leashed at all times. Keira Farm can also provide a tent complete with two single camp beds, esky with ice and a fire pit to cook your dinner on the open fire. You just need to bring bedding, food and any additional comforts, like wine and nibbles.
