Hamilton

Flaming & Co is a unique fire-powered Pan Asian restaurant with laneway dining, tucked away on Hamilton's Racecourse Road.

Diners can take a seat on the terrace out front, the high-ceilinged pavilion like laneway that runs alongside, or the cosy banquette dining space out back and enjoy some fine flame cooked Australian cuisine with an Asian flavour.

In the open kitchen, the skilled chefs prepare most menu items over open flames, infusing tantalizing flavors into dishes like flamed oysters and fish marinated in zesty chilli, complemented by a handful of deep-fried dishes.

Snacks to start or to enjoy with a drink from the bar include grilled oysters, smoked eggplant, salmon belly croquettes or Wagyu Katsu sando; while Starters include fried buttermilk squid, grilled kangaroo or tiger prawns and charred scallops.

There's also a selection of Large Plates (to share between 3-4 diners) including Confit lamb shoulder, whole smoked duck, or grilled coral trout, while on the sweets menu are grilled pineapple or myrtle panna cotta.

The wine list is a curated selection of Australian and international wines to complement the flame-cooked flavours and there's also premium spirits, beers and classic or non-alcoholic cocktails.
