EAGLE FARM MARKETS HAVE PERMANENTLY CLOSED IN LATE 2018.

Eagle Farm Markets, one of Brisbane's best quality markets, offer something for everyone, and are housed within historic Eagle Farm Racecourse.

The market is spread out under cover alongside the main grandstands, with parking available, both on street and in the dedicated car park further along on Lancaster Rd.

Here at Eagle Farm the fruit and vege stalls are abundant and great value, with dedicated berry, mushroom and garlic and egg stalls amongst the green grocer stalls.

Market goers can also pick up some top notch organic saltbush lamb, grass-fed eye fillet, pork ribs and fresh seafood from Davy Jones Seafood.

There's plenty of gourmet finds, incuding local honey, gourmet cheeses, a fantastic spice stall, stands of fresh baked sweet treats and breads and pastries from outlets such as and Yummioh Organic Bakery and Triple B Bakery. And one to look out for is the popular Doughy cookie dough stall.

That's not all - here's the place to find gifts and homewares, fresh flowers, craft, toys, unique kids and baby wear and dreamy fashion stalls, handcrafted timber furniture and even a creative soap stall where you can watch soaps being carved.

Eagle Farm Markets also make a great budget breakfast or brunch destination, with a multicultural Breakfast Garden where stalls sell Dutch Poffertjes and Belgian Waffles, Okonomiyaki (savoury Japanese pancakes), gyoza, Chinese dumplings, German sausages, breakfast burgers, roesti, delicious omelettes and yoghurts and granola.

Adjacent is Mr Coffee bar that serves a great brew for the Sunday morning caffeine fix.

Meantime the young and the restless are catered for in a play garden with jumping castle and slide and ride-on-party animals.

Need to know: Dogs are not permitted inside the Eagle Farm Markets.
